Soulful Sessions - South Coast - December 2nd

Soulful Sessions is a Free Event connecting like minded women across Australia

Come back to the joy and magic of movement in this creative dance workshop to support connection with yourself and your children.

A creative sensory dance workshop that supports mums and children to connect with their inner rhythm, expressing themselves freely while participating in a range of movement styles. This offering will be an opportunity for mums and children (babies - 10 year olds will be catered for) to participate in a creative sensory dance class.

You will be in a supportive and judgement-free space, no dancing skills are required to come along and join in.

When booking please book tickets for your children as well so we know the numbers. If you are no longer able to attend the event please let us know so we can offer your space to someone else, as spaces are limited.

What to expect;

Our South Coast Soulful Sessions Facilitator Renee Eagan and our Special Guest Ash Neale will be there to greet you at That Little yoga Place Studio.

After a short introduction and warm up to get us settled into the space, Ash will lead us on a magical session of creative dance, where we will be participating in a range of movement styles, utilising percussion, clapping sticks, silk scarves and other thrilling modalities.

We will then finish up the dancing element of the session and head down to the Park across the road and sit in circle to share and reflect, giving each person an opportunity to speak from their heart. This is a space to speak without judgment and all things said will be kept confidential.

This is an opportunity for parents to connect with their children as well as with other like-minded families in a space that is set up to be inclusive and feel safe for us to express whatever arises. Moving and connecting with our own bodies supports our children’s coordination, rhythm, balance and simply the joy of movement in connection with others (something we as mums can come back to and be reminded of as well).
